Sogea-Satom initiatives for Africa

The Sogea-Satom Initiatives for Africa (ISSA) program provides real support to local populations for their economic and social development projects.

It funds and supports the development of creative, sustainable projects and initiatives that create jobs and drive progress for local residents.

ISSA demonstrates our commitment to solidarity by supporting community organizations and projects in the fields of health care, education, access to water, agriculture, livestock farming, environmental protection and local craftsmanship.

Close to communities

ISSA works alongside local project leaders (cooperatives, associations, micro-businesses, etc.), and helps to showcase these projects, particularly if run by women, since their economic independence generally has a crucial impact on families. ISSA therefore meets the needs and expectations of the local population and fosters their autonomy by funding tangible, sustainable projects.15 years after its launch, ISSA is a powerful testimony to our commitment to the African continent, far beyond the projects we have already completed.

Dual support

The originality of ISSA lies in its dual approach, combining financial sponsorship and skills sponsorship. In addition to financial support, ISSA requires the involvement of a staff member as project sponsor. All our employees can get involved in the program by sponsoring a project. Sponsors identify high-potential projects and play a key role in creating the project and establishing the partnership. They support projects over the long term and ensure their success.
