Rehabilitation of the Kanawolo – Ferkessedougou road (Batch 2)

The work consisted of reinforcing the northern road on the Bouaké – Ferkessédougou section, 95 km in all.
In figures, the section between Kanawolo, Tafiré and Ferkessédougou represents 750,000 tonnes of aggregate production, 300,000 tonnes of asphalt mix and 40 km of ditch.

The renovation of this road has helped to develop trade and cultural exchanges between the countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). The safety and comfort of road users has also been improved.
